Method of Completion and submission of Scholarship award Forms:
Application forms are completed ONLINE AT www.fsb.gov.ng After You click on REGISTER at top of the page.
Applicants MUST go through the INSTRUCTIONS before completing the online form
All applicants MUST fill the online version of the Application form first and remember to PRINT an Acknowledgement Slip online after completing and submitting the form. Your Acknowledgement Slip would be required from you at the Interview venue.
Applicants MUST also download the PDF version of the NIGERIAN AWARD form and print a copy of it, fill it and make 5 photocopies of the PDF application form and bring it along with your Acknowledgement Slip
(a) Photocopies of other documents to be submitted online with the completed application form are;
i. Letter of admission to the institution you are studying.
ii. Educational certificates
iii. Course Registration.
iv. Identity Card
v. Last sessional examination result.
vi. One (1) passport-size photographs
BASIC QUALIFICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:
(a) POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
All applicants for postgraduate scholarship should have at least a first degree (2nd Class) or HND (Upper Class Level)
(b) UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP:
All applicants for undergraduate degree scholarship must possess a minimum Qualification of five credits in Senior Secondary Certificate Examination including English Language and Mathematics. In addition, they must be in the 2nd year of their studies or above and must have at least 3.0 C.G.P.A on a 5 point scale or its equivalent in previous academic years examinations.
(c) HND SCHOLARSHIP:
All applicants must have a minimum of Upper Credit Pass at ND level. The Award Covers HND 1 AND HND II
(d) NCE SCHOLARSHIP:
The award is for 2nd and 3rd year of NCE programme and candidates must have a minimum of 3.0 CGPA score on 5 point scale or its equivalent in the previous examinations.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:- Hard Copy
Collection and submission of Forms:
i) Application forms are obtained from the Registrar’s Offices of the following institutions:
- Federal and State Universities
- Federal and State polytechnics/Colleges of Technology
- Federal and State Colleges of Education
ii) Students who are qualified to apply according to the above criteria should collect Application forms from their institutions and submit the duly completed forms at the interview venue.
iii) Candidates are advised to make only one entry. Those who make multiple entries will have their entries rejected.
iv) Completed application forms must be legible (Candidates are therefore advised to write legibly)
iv) Incomplete and incorrect completion of forms will lead to disqualification.
ALL COMPLETED (HARD COPY) APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH PHOTOCOPIES OF THE FOLLOWING:
i) Educational certificates (on no account should original certificates be sent)
ii) Letter of admission to the institution you are studying
iii) Course Registration
iv) Last sessional examination result
v) Identity Card.
vi) 2 passport-size photographs.
Submission of Scholarship application forms
Applicants are meant to print a the first page of their application form and the Acknowledgement Slip are all meant to be submitted at the interview centre. Admission for the Interview is strictly based on the above mentioned.
